Terms
Terms
The terms for using LifterOS, beta builds, LifterOS Cloud, imports, exports, and ChatGPT integration.
Effective date: May 25, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of LifterOS, including the iOS app, beta builds, LifterOS Cloud, ChatGPT integration, imports, exports, and related services.
1. Acceptance
By using LifterOS, you agree to these terms and to the LifterOS Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use LifterOS.
2. Eligibility
LifterOS is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under 13, do not use LifterOS.
3. What LifterOS Does
LifterOS helps you organize and review personal fitness, health, nutrition, lab, protocol, progress photo, workout, cardio, import, and related data. Features may include local tracking, source-linked imports, Apple Health integration, optional cloud upload, and optional ChatGPT-assisted analysis or draft creation.
LifterOS is a personal tracking and analysis tool. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, training, or other professional advice.
4. Medical and Fitness Disclaimer
LifterOS does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease or condition. LifterOS does not prescribe medication, supplements, protocols, workouts, diets, or treatments. Always consult qualified medical professionals before making decisions about medical conditions, medications, supplements, protocols, training, nutrition, or health risks.
You are responsible for how you interpret and use information shown in LifterOS, including summaries, charts, trends, imports, ChatGPT responses, and draft recommendations.
5. Your Data and Content
You are responsible for the data, files, notes, photos, imports, and other content you add to LifterOS. You represent that you have the right to use and upload that content.
You keep ownership of your content. You grant LifterOS permission to process, store, transmit, display, and analyze your content only as needed to provide the features you choose to use, operate the service, maintain security, and support the beta.
6. Local Data, Apple Health, and Cloud Features
LifterOS is designed to be local-first. Most app data stays on your device unless you choose a cloud feature.
If you grant Apple Health permissions, LifterOS uses only the categories you approve. You can manage Apple Health permissions in iOS Settings.
If you use LifterOS Cloud or ChatGPT integration, you may upload app data to a LifterOS Cloud account linked through Sign in with Apple. ChatGPT-created drafts are proposals until you review and approve them in LifterOS.
7. Accounts and Security
Some features require Sign in with Apple or another supported authentication flow. You are responsible for keeping your devices, accounts, and authentication methods secure. Notify LifterOS if you believe your account or cloud data may have been accessed without authorization.
8. Beta Features
LifterOS may be provided as a beta or TestFlight build. Beta features may change, break, be removed, lose data, or behave unexpectedly. You should not rely on beta builds as your only copy of important records.
You agree that beta feedback, bug reports, suggestions, and related communications may be used to improve LifterOS without compensation or restriction.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use LifterOS for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
- Attempt to access another user's account, data, cloud export, or drafts.
- Interfere with LifterOS services, infrastructure, security, or rate limits.
- Upload malware or content that violates another person's rights.
- Use LifterOS outputs as a replacement for professional medical advice.
10. Third-Party Services
LifterOS may integrate with Apple services, Apple Health, TestFlight, cloud infrastructure providers, OpenAI or ChatGPT, and other third-party services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
If you access LifterOS through Apple's App Store or TestFlight, Apple's applicable terms also apply.
11. Availability and Changes
LifterOS may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. LifterOS may also update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
12. Disclaimers
LifterOS is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. LifterOS does not warrant that the app or services will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, complete, secure, or suitable for your particular needs.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LifterOS and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, health decisions, or other losses arising from your use of or inability to use LifterOS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
14. Termination
You may stop using LifterOS at any time. LifterOS may suspend or terminate access to cloud or beta services if needed to protect users, comply with law, enforce these terms, or operate the service.
